Uganda is a land of many resources, but unfortunately, cash isn't one of them.  We have to pay teachers and staff.  Course materials have to be printed, and transportation to remote areas can be difficult.  Our expenses are actually quite low, but they are still very real and have to be paid on time.  It costs about $100 a month to fund each class, or about $3 per student.
Right now we have more than 1300 students waiting for new classes to be funded.
You can sponsor a student, or a teacher, make a recurring gift, or a one time contribution. Because we are a 501(c)(3) organization, all donations are 100% tax deductible.  Click here for more.

There are a lot of ways you can help us to be more effective.  Do you have skills in social media?  Can you host a small party?  Any grant writing skills?  Perhaps you have some ideas on how our organization can be more efficient and effective.  Maybe you have a source for discounted reading glasses - which are always in short supply.  Tell us about yourself.

It's easy, painless and won't cost you a cent.  Help us spread the word about DCI and the great work we're doing in Uganda.  Like and share our FaceBook posts, subscribe to our videos and contribute to our Twitter feed.
